TRACY M. KING-SANCHEZ

Tracy, a Brooklyn, NY native, lived in Paris for six years. Her writing has appeared in The Southampton Review, Midnight Breakfast, The Normal School, and other literary magazines. Her short story, That Sigourney Weaver Thang - from which the main character of her novel first appeared - was a Notable Mention in 2016’s The Best American Short Stories. Tracy holds an MFA from Stony Brook Southampton. In addition to writing, she wrote, directed, produced and edited a short film, Artistic Closure, which played at film festivals. She has served as a juror for the Stony Brook Film Festival. Tracy is currently working on a novel, a collection of short stories set in both Brooklyn and Paris, and a memoir of letters, examining her childhood as a foster child and how it has led her to find yet another home in Amsterdam.
